A boxed portfolio of forty color photographs. Untitled (40 Photographs) is a taxonomy of a type of person, in which the subjects have been decontextualized from their environment. The formal device of a typical 1970s school portrait backdrop was used to evoke a feeling of nostalgia; but also to insinuate a kind of stability on the young men pictured, who would not normally have it.
